प्रिय और लोकप्रिय गल्प / Favorite Fictions

प्रतिलिपि पर हम समय समय पर गूगल एनालिटिक्स के आंकड़ों के आधार पर सर्वाधिक पढ़े गए मजमूनों की सूची प्रकाशित करते रहे हैं. २ अप्रैल २००८ से यह अंक लोकार्पित होने के २ दिन पहले यानी १४ नवम्बर २०११ की बीच सबसे ज्यादा पढ़े गए गल्पों में प्रभात रंजन की कहानी सोनाली और सुबिमल की कहानी पिछले कई महीनों से लगातार शीर्ष पर है. शीर्ष दस मजमूनों में जहाँ एक तरफ तीन महान लेखक हें – रवींद्रनाथ ठाकुर, मंटो और कुंवर नारायण वहीँ दूसरी तरफ बाकी सातों युवा हैं. यह भी दिलचस्प है कि सूची में सभी लेखक भारतीय हैं. इनमें से ५ हिंदी के हैं: ३ मूल, २ अंग्रेजी अनुवाद में और ४ अंग्रेज़ी के. यहाँ यह बताना ज़रूरी है कि किसी कथा के पढ़े जाने की संख्या का उसके प्रकशन की तिथि से सीधा सम्बन्ध है, इसलिए हमने उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख़ भी इंगित की है.

संपादकों की प्रतिलिपि पर प्रकाशित पसंदीदा गल्प की सूची में हमने गल्प कला के उस्तादों के अलावा उन लेखकों को भी शामिल नहीं किया है जो पाठकों की सूची में हैं. संपादकों की सूची लेखकों के नामों के अकारादि क्रम में, बिना किसी वरीयता के, प्रकाशित हैं.

At Pratilipi we have, ever so often, been posting lists of the most-read pieces according to Google Analytics. From the time the magazine was launched, on 2nd April 2008, till 14th November 2011, Prabhat Ranjan’s story, Sonali aur Subimal Master ki Kahani, has been the most read piece of fiction we have published. In the top-ten list of our most-read stories, while we have on one hand 3 established masters – Rabindranath Tagore, Saadat Hasan Manto and Kunwar Narain – on the other hand, the remaining 7 are all young writers. It is also interesting that all the authors in the list are Indians. Of these texts, 5 are Hindi (3 original, 2 English translations), 4 English, and 1 Urdu. It is important to note that the number of hits does have a correlation to the time of publication, so we have indicated the date of publication for these stories as well.

In the Editor’s Choice list, we have left out fiction by established greats, as well as some favorites that are already in the Reader’s Choice list. Our choices are listed alphabetically below.
