1935 – 1982.
Poet and critic Malayaj published two poetry collections Zakhm par Dhool, Apne Hone ko Aprakashit Karta Hua; two books in literary criticism, Kavita se Sakshatkar, Samvad aur Ekalaap and a unique collection of non-fiction pieces, Hanste Hue Mera Akelapan. For many, he is one of the makers of the modern Hindi prose and a critic par excellence. In 2005, his diary was published; his correspondences are coming out in July 2008.
