Geetanjali Shree

Born 1957, writes fiction in Hindi. Four of her novels and two collections of short stories have come out so far; all from Rajkamal Prakashan, New Delhi. Her novel Mai (Kali for Women: 2004, English translation by Neeta Kumar) was shortlisted for Crossword Book Award, the novel is also being translated into Russian and Korean. She has been given the prestigious Indu Sharma award and has been a fellow of Ministry of Culture, India and Japan Foundation. She has also been associated with Vivadi, a Delhi-based theatre group.

Geetanjali Shree is one of the General Advisors of Pratilipi.
