Born in Imphal, 1949. Published two books of poetry in Meitei – “Sandrembi Thoraklo Nahum Ponjen Sabige” and “Rajkumari Amasung Uchek Machasing” – and was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for fiction in 1991.
