Dr. T.N. Madan is Honorary Professor at the Institute of Economic Growth, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Anthropogical Institute (London) and Docteur Honoris Causa of the University of Paris (Nanterre). His numerous publications include India’s Religions: Perspectives from Sociology and History, Oxford University Press, 2004.
