रामचंद्र गाँधी / Ramchandra Gandhi

Ramchandra Gandhi (June 9, 1937 – June 13, 2007) was an Indian philosopher student of Peter Strawson and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. His maternal grandfather was Chakravarthy Rajagopalachari.

He was the founder of the philosophy department of University of Hyderabad having also taught at Santiniketan, Panjab University, California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA, and finally Bangalore University.

His published works are: “Moksha and Martyrdom: Reflections on Ramana Maharshi and Mahatma Gandhi”, “Sita’s Kitchen: A Testimony of Faith and Inquiry”, “Gandhi’s Gujarat”, “Svaraj: A Journey with Tyeb Mehta”, and “Ideas Images Exchanges with Ranjit Hoskote and Roshan Shahani”
