राजुला शाह / Rajula Shah

An MA in English literature and a graduate of FTII, Pune, Rajula works as an independent filmmaker, producing & directing short & feature-length documentaries, social communication videos, etc.

Sabad Nirantar was awarded the Horizonte Prize at Dokfest ‘08, Munich.

Her poems and short stories have been published in journals like Naya Gyanodaya, Vagarth, Sakshatkar, Madhumati, Samkaleen Bharatiya Sahitya, Indraprastha Bharati, Jansatta, Poorvagrah, JICPR, Ansuya, Tanav, Purovak, Indian Literature etc. Her poetry collection Parchhain ki Khidki Se was awarded the Navlekhan Puraskar by Bharatiya Jyanpeeth in 2004. She also wrote a column for the National School of Drama’s magazine, Rang Prasang.

She has translated Ila R. Bhatt’s We Are Poor But So Many into Hindi, and also poems by the Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad for the magazine Tanaav.

She was Writer-in-residence in Hamburg, Germany in 2006.

I’m very interested seeing / buying the works of Rajula but unable to find any sources online to see or buy her work.. can you please help me get in touch with her or point me to any sources where i can buy / view her content?
