After completing his graduation in Mumbai, Piyush Shah studied Motion Picture Photography at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
Piyush Shah has cinematographed films for various directors, namely Mani Kaul (Siddheshwari, Nazar etc.) , Shyam Benegal (Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda), Arun Khopkar (Colors of Absence, Figures of Thought), Raj Kumar Santoshi (China Gate), Ram Gopal Varma (Mast), Nikhil Advani (Sallam-E-Ishq), Ashutosh Govarikar (What’s Your Rashee).
Piyush has multiple interests, and his passions are drawing, photography and pure mathematics.
