Paul Zacharia (born 1945) is a Malayalam short story writer, novelist and essayist. Born in Urulikkunnam in Kottayam district in Kerala, Zacharia lives in Trivandrum. Considered one of the most important Indian writers living today, his works have been translated into English and other languages. He is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award and Katha Award. His works include: Salaam America, Aarkariyam, Kannadi Kanmolavum, Enthundu Vishesham Peelathose, etc.
