निरुपमा दत्त / Nirupama Dutt
Nirupama is a poet of Punjabi. Her anthology Ik Nadi Sanwali Jahi (A Stream Somewhat Dark) won the Punjabi Akademi, New Delhi award. A journalist of many seasons, she spent a large part of her career with The Indian Express at Chandigarh and New Delhi. With pioneering work in literary and art journalism behind her, she has extensively translated leading writers from Hindi and Punjabi into English. She has just completed translation of Lal Singh Dil’s autobiography and poems from Punjabi to English. The book will be published by Penguin India.
