लास्लो नॉज / László Nagy

(1924-1978)

The son of a farmer, László Nagy’s early poetry centers on a world of dreams. He studied Arts and Design, then Literature, Languages and Philosophy in Budapest. He won the 1950, 1953, 1955 Attila József Prize, the 1966 Kossuth Prize, and the 1976 International Botev Prize for translation. His major works are: Tűnj el fájás, Gyöngyszoknya and Himnusz minden időben.
