परिचय / About
| प्रतिलिपि, फिलहाल, पूर्णतः अव्यावसायिक और संपादकों के निजी पैसे और इसके प्रतिभागियों की सहृदयता से संचालित (ई-) पत्रिका है.
यह एक ‘ऑनलाइन’ पत्रिका दो कारणों से है: १. ऐसी पत्रिका अपने कथ्य-रूप आदि समस्त प्रपंचों में अधिक ‘खुली’ हुई हो सकती है- इसमे लेखक और संपादक किसी पाठ पर सचमुच, अर्थपूर्ण अंतःक्रिया कर सकते हैं; इसको किसी भी क्षण संपादित-पुनर्सम्पादित किया जा सकता है; इसका रूप भी लगभग हर मिनट बदला जा सकता है (ऐसा हम करेंगे नहीं) २. प्रिंट-की-हुई, जिल्द-की-हुई पत्रिका निकालने के लिए जो संसाधन-आदि चाहिए वे हमारे पास नहीं है, और जैसे ये सब पाए जा सकते हैं, वे मार्ग, फिलहाल, हमें मालूम नहीं है. यह एक द्विभाषी/बहुभाषी, बहुलिपि पत्रिका है, होना चाहती है और विभिन्न तरह के लेखनों को आपस में विवाद-विमर्श आदि करने के लिए एक साथ रखना चाहती है. हम वेब पर प्रतिनिधित्वमूलक भूमिका और अपेक्षा दोनों से बचने के संकल्प के अलावा किसी-भी तरह के निषेधात्मक संकल्प से, फिलहाल, दूर हैं, और उम्मीद है, भविष्य में भी रहेंगे. |
Pratilipi is (for the time being) a completely non-commercial magazine running on the editors’ investments and on the works of likeminded contributors.
It is an ‘online’ magazine for two reasons: 1. An online magazine can be more ‘open’ in terms of eccentricities of form etc. The writers and the editors can really work and interact with a text; it can be edited and re-edited at any time; its form can change by the minute (although we do not intend to do that). 2. A printed, bound magazine needs the sort of resources that we do not (as yet) have nor do we (as yet) know the ways that lead to such resources. Pratilipi is (wants to be) a bilingual / multilingual, multiscript magazine that provides a space for conversation / debate between diverse sorts of writing and writers. Pratilipi forbids itself nothing – except taking on a representational role on the web or catering to such expectations – and, hopefully, never will. |

Am much heartened to see the effort, both design and content, behind Pratilipi. There really is a need for such a medium, and you have done the right thing.

I came to know about this great initiative through Aruni Kashyap, who has written an article on Indira Goswami’s Blog. I have yet to discover it completely and would like to appreciate Pratilipi for providing platform to express and voice one’s outlook..

In the maze of mindlessly commercialized websites, some bordering on the pornographic, Pratilipi brings out a whiff of fresh air, intellectually stimulating, both from the literary and aesthetic points of view. My regards to all those behind the making of this wonderful website. It showcases what the writers/photographers/artists/graphic designers in contemporary India think. I will definitely refer Pratilipi to all my contacts so that at least people can understand what real India i.e. Bharat is. I came to this website after reading through Anil Yadav’s nice travelogue(in part, of course) on another media website. Please carry on with the good job, but do try to incorporate more and more of Indian authors.

एक छोटा सा प्रश्न/सुझाव: दिलीप छित्रे की कविताअों का हिंदी अनुवाद किसने किया है, क्या ये नाम भूल से छूट गया है? या फिर “प्रतिलिपि” की अनुवाद policy का खुलासा करें।
