चारु निवेदिता के प्रयोगशील और विवादास्पद उपन्यास जीरो डिग्री के अंशों का प्रभात रंजन का बेजोड़ अनुवाद; बांग्ला कथाकार नकुल मलिक की कहानी का उत्पल बनर्जी कृत हिंदी अनुवाद और नीटू दास के अंग्रेज़ी अनुवाद में युवा असमिया लेखक जयंत सैकिया की कहानी भी इस फीचर में शामिल है.

With this issue Pratilipi strengthens its Scandinavian connection even further, as is evident in the selection of Danish fiction – by noted novelists Ruben Palma, Benn Q. Holm and Merete Pryds Helle – in this feature.

This feature also has another story by Manto, although the most satisfying thing about the feature is the inclusion of stories, in English translation, by the near forgotten Hindi writer Shivpujan Sahay and by the remarkable Dilip Kumar, a Tamil writer of Gujarati origin.

Rounding out the feature are: an excerpt from Charu Nivedita’s experimental and controversial novel Zero Degree in Prabhat Ranjan’s fascinating Hindi rendition; Nakul Mullik’s Bengali short story in Utpal Banerjee’s Hindi translation; and Nitoo Das’s English translation of the upcoming Assamese writer, Jayanta Saikia.
